Maintenance Protection Agreement

For schools that are in the BISCO service area

Service

All adjustments and repairs will be made to keep the instrument in proper playing condition. (Work must be performed by our technicians.)

Repair

Any major damage to the instrument will be restored to perfect playing condition. Minor case repairs-latches-handles-hinges, etc are covered

Replacement

Should the instrument be damaged beyond satisfactory repair, it will be replace with one of equal value.

Protection

In case of loss by fire or theft, we will replace with one of equal value at no charge. Police report must accompany request for replacement.

Cost

$4.00 - Clarinet, Cornet, Drum Kit, Flute, Percussion Kit, Trombone, Trumpet, Alto Saxophone, Baritone, French Horn, Oboe, Tenor Sax, Wood Clarinet.

This cost is included in your monthly payment, but does not apply towards your purchase price of the instrument.

COVERAGE DOES NOT INCLUDE

Replacement of expendable accessories such as reeds, lyres, cleaning equipment, drumsticks/mallets.
Removing of minor dents that do not effect playing.
Restoration of complete finishes on brass instruments.
Damage done by unskilled persons attempting repair.
Any malicious destruction or destruction beyond normal wear and tear.

All repair parts and replacement must be handled by Band Instrument Service Co. No reimbursement made for service procured from other sources.

Any part of warranty still in effect at time of property transfer will be passed to lessee.

Pickup and delivery provided only through schools called on weekly by Band Instrument Service Co. during the school year.

INSTRUMENTS DO NOT QUALIFY FOR SERVICE OR PROTECTION UNLESS PAYMENTS ARE CURRENT.

EXCHANGE POLICY

BAND INSTRUMENTS - You may exchange your instrument for another student line instrument anytime while you are renting an instrument.

First 6 Months: Free - No use fee will be charged. All applied money will be transferred to the exchanged instrument.

After 6 Months: You will be charged a use fee 1 1/2% of the price of the instrument times the number of months you had the instrument. All other money will be credited to the price of the exchange instrument.
